Worst divisional matchup in primetime?

The funny thing is that if Kasay had made that FG against the Giants, we'd be playing the Eagles on Sunday and the Giants would be playing the Cardinals Saturday.

And that's what I was thinking a few weeks ago, the 2nd seed may be a blessing. I'd rather play the Cards this week, and let the NFC boys beat the hell out of each other, hopefully having Philly here for the NFC champ game.

Of course gota win this week first.

When the cardinals won the game, one of my first thoughts was that they wasted the time slot on this game. Much more sexy games are out there. FOX would probably kill to be able to bump us for that Giants Philly game.

No disrespect meant to either club, just being realistic.

I think our game is the least appealing of the four but Arizona vs. Carolina is how it ended up. So be it. I'd rather be playing the Cardinals over the Eagles. haha

ya mean the Vikings......if Minny had beaten the Eags, the Vikes would be playing here on Saturday; if Eags beat New York next week (and we win) then the Eags come here for the NFC championship game.

    • would love it if Vegas were Week 5 (Oct 7).  Just throwing it out there with fingers crossed
    • I believe you are correct. Everyone remembers that record setting drubbing of the Broncos but that was the highlight of their season. They have very good coaching overall and they have a ton of talent. With a better QB they could have knocked off the Chiefs IMO. We aren't even in the conversation of the Dolphins until proven otherwise. We couldn't even get in the end zone against the lowly Chicago Bears. We got shutout and blown out by the CJ Beathard led Jaguars for fugs sake. We can't even compete with bad teams let alone run up the score on them. To me if I'm being completely realistic if I'm the GM and my job is on the line and I feel like Tua is Bryce Young's ceiling I'm drafting QB in the first round next year unless he just magically has a season like Stroud did last year. That's it. I'm genuinely not trying to be abrasive about this it just gets really mind numbing eventually that we keep lowering the bar down down down down down and it's like hey it's fine to have expectations. And if you have a young QB in his prime and he isn't giving you at least prime Jake Delhomme arm talent it's time to keep looking for a QB.
    • Not exactly.  They show that Jones was making the most of the opportunities he had.  I was never a fan of his, but I think that the talent level in NE last year is somehow escaping the massive negative attention it should have received.  That team was terrible - especially the talent and coaching on offense - and everyone was still afraid of the wrath of hoodie. He'll have a chance to restart his career at some point.  He was a middle of the pack QB as a rookie.  Plenty of teams out there would love to make it up to middle of the pack at QB.
