Two things to mention about the WR dilema.

Ok first on the official website for the Panthers they have a poll of what area is the biggest need. There has been 1281 votes and the breakdown is

28% DLINE

3% Kick & Punt returner

36% QUARTERBACK

32% WIDE RECEIVER

2% OTHER

Ok you see anything wrong with that? Is it just me or do some people need to goo ahead and drink the kool aid and back MATT MOORE. What i am saying is those of you that support Moore and realize that we were near dead last in returns last year need to vote.

Second I was reading up on Tyke Tolbert and came away very impressed. He has developed some talent. Anquan Boldin, Lee Evans, and Roscoe Parrish. I feel this guy will help us make a smart decision come draft time and develop the guy-guys into big time players. I really see us coming away with 2 WR's this year. One being a Lee Evans type ( 2 with potential to be 1) and a Parrish type ( kick return specialist.) I am gonna call it and say our 2nd and 3rd will be Andre Roberts and Jacoby Ford.

I don't care what the fans think. The front office seems committed to Moore, and I'm happy about that.

I hope Tolbert can help develop whomever we draft, as well as some of the other "potential" talent on the team (Jarrett, Moore, Martin, Jackson, etc.).

I second that, I want more then just one guy other then steve smith to be able to play so that way we can have depth!

After hearing Hurney of PAC last week...it appears he ehar the fans regarding the WR. I will be SHOCKED if we do not draft a WR with our first pick.

Hurney has admitted the NFL has turned into a passing league and our balance is way off. I actuallyl do think they are now listening to the fans.

Does that mean we wont run a draw play on 3 and 12...prob not.:mad2:

    • You guys are just going to have to accept the fact that Dan Morgan is a mid GM best case scenario currently. I used to have people get very belligerent over defending Scott Fitterer too. And that's not hyperbole. People used to go to bat for that guy like he was blood related. We have a truckload invested in the OL and what do we have to show for it? The whole unit is already banged up including one of our big signings. Even without all that the group has largely taken a step back from last year in pass protection. Then you get to the QB room and there's only two conclusions you can make about Dan Morgan. Either he deliberately ignored it two years in a row on his own accord or he took orders from Tepper to do so. Either scenario says he's not fit to be an NFL GM.
    • Frank, ceding control of the defense in no way verifies that Tepper told Canales to bench Young.    It certainly buttresses the idea that Canales would need permission to bench him but that is as far as you can take it.    After that it is pure speculation and it doesn’t make sense.
    • Uhh, okay yes that happened. I didn’t like the pick either I am a 3rd or later RB guy. Always. Actually hated the CMC pick too. Hated the Stewart pick.  No one wants to talk about trading the #39 in that draft and what he did with that.  Got #52, #155, and the Rams 2025 2nd to boot.   The 52 and 155 plus our 142 5th rounder to go up for a Brooks Everyone wants to forget about the 2025 2nd for that Rams trade  which was used to move up for Scourton.  That Rams trade down was a great deal for us.
