How does the McNabb trade effect the draft?

With the trade to the Skins, I'm not so sure they take Clausen or another QB with their 1st pick. I'm not sure what other position/player they target at this point. Do they go after a WR after releasing Randle El? Perhaps they are willing to trade down later into the 1st now? I'm wondering what kind of domino effect this will have on how the draft plays out.

skins need a tackle in the worst way. Samuels retired and they have nobody of starting quality on the roster at right tackle either.Skins would have been more likely to take a reciever with the 2nd pick than the eagles are. This is good for us on the reciever front but not on the defensive tackle front since philly needs one worst than washington did

Clausen will be gone, at the latest, by the Bills' pick...

Philly will probably go with defense in the first, and offense with the second rounder gained from Washington... OR they could be targeting someone they want to move up with... Word has it the Lions among others want to move down...

As for Washington, Tackle all the way...

    • Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.
    • The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
