Please Help with Parking, Tailgating, etc

Hi folks,

This will be my very first Panthers game that I've been able to attend. I'm looking for help in what is the best place to park (cost not so much of an issue as availability and distance), where everyone tailgates, and what time it all starts for you.

I will be rolling down from High Point with my brother (Cowgirls fan, give him sh*t if you see us), his neighbor, and a friend of the neighbor, who is getting us the tickets. The friend is the only one who has been to a game before, so exact directions would be great, as I've only been to Charlotte once and the other two never.

Thanks so much in advance for any help you guys can give us! Here's to a Panther team opening a can of whoop ass on the Cards!! :D

As scrum said, check out the first post in the Tailgate thread.

We tailgate in the lot on 3rd St....between Church and Poplar. Directions are in the tailgate thread.

It is $30 bucks, but you will be right at our HUGE tailgate.

From High Pointe, I would take the following directions:

I-85 South to Brookshire Freeway (Hwy 16). Go East (left turn onto Brookshire). Keep coming on Brookshire until you see downton. Take the Church Street Exit. Go right on Church Street. Take Church Stree until you come to 3rd St. Cross over 3rd Streed and then immediately turn right inot our parking lot. We are at the bottom right had side of the parking lot.

BE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Mr. 0-2 every year to start the season in his career. Last year was the first year he ever played a week 3 game.
    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
