We're up 17-7 but they're in the red zone now.

The last penalty was BS but when you've been commiting as many penalties as we have been today you get no benefit of the doubt. That hit wasn't late though. QB got hit in the act of throwing.

We're on track for 20 penalties and 140 penalty yards. That seems less than ideal.

Damn, no dice for ECU. Houston needs to go. Can't imagine why he was kept after last season.

ECU being cheap? That's all I got. I thought he should have been let go after his second season.

Could be, but it's odd because ECU has a pretty supportive fanbase and you'd think they'd be willing to pay whatever considering the reason they let go of Ruffin years back was because they wanted more than 8-5 and bowl games every year. That moved backfired but it shows the intent. Last year it seems like Houston had mailed it in expecting to get a job elsewhere and when he didn't he had to scramble to put something together resulting in a dumpster fire. That should be more than fireable.

Okay, these refs are just out of control at this point. The last two flags were complete bullshit. The announcers were just left scratching their heads on that taunting penalty.

Houston just isn't a good coach and firing Ruffin was a mistake. They weren't great under him, but played better than they have since he was let go.
