Of course, the whole foul/free throw thing will turn around now in favor of the Lakers, one of the more annoying things about the NBA. The officials.

Serious question for you..... You always bring up foul shoot discrepancies in games, Do you believe the number of foul calls on each team should be even?? Cause some teams and players do a good job of going to the basket aggressively and getting fouls called. And some teams on defense play VERY lazy and slow and thats why they get fouls called against them (The lakers last night)... Lazy D+Aggressive Offense= Lots of free throws.

Just like the NFL... Penalty flags should not be even.... teams with lack of discipline gets more fouls called against them.

Dwight howard has been playing very lazy offense (Pushing off, using elbows to get space) and late overly aggressive defense... This is why he's been on the bench the whole damn series.

I'm not saying they should be even, but both teams have been very aggressive going to the rack this series. For the FT attempts to be so one sided is ridiculous. It's just the "Home Court Advantage", something the NBA has to fix if they ever want to compete with the NFL again.

Yea I know, I just don't get whats so hard about blowing the whistle when a guy gets "fouled" and swallowing it when it's a touch foul. It goes both ways obviously though, but its gotta get more consistent. It's one of the reasons basketball is one of my least favorite sports, the officials can make it an absolute joke way to easy. They aren't even held accountable for stuff like this. When was the last time you heard of an NBA official getting fined or suspended because they blew the whistle too many times for the home team.....

Bill Simmons said it best about NBA refs, when the news broke that an NBA ref was implicated for fixing games, it wasn't so much a shock that it occurred - the legitimate question that everyone had was "Which one?"
