Bump

Two questions:

1) When do they send us our tickets?

2) When do they invoice you for playoff tickets if it looks like we will make the playoffs?

1.July

2. around week 16 if you are still in the running at that point.

Added one more thing to the PSl list. You now how the opportunity to pay full price for a ticket that other folks will be paying 20 dollars if we have another year like last year. Welcome!! :D

In all fairness, in 2008 when we went 12-4 and tickets were hard to get, being a PSL owner had it privledges. Last year- not so much. Problem has been that we have had too many non-winning seasons lately.

besides going to wine and cheese the other things you must do if you want to fit in:

Make sure you do the wave on offense not defense.

Yell at people to sit down when they decide to stand up on third down.

Wear a jersey of your former team whenever we play them at BOA.

If we lose 2 games in a row at home, don't come to the next game until we start winning again or better still sell your tickets to all of the big games to opposing fans so they can take over our house.

Anyone want to add more things that are wrong with PSL owners...........

go shirtless with painted wiskers!

Start slow.

Simply stick with hard cheeses in September and October. Nothing wrong with a Gruyere or even a simple asiago. Pair this with a Pinot gris...or maybe even a Sauternes if you are with a plucky crowd. Not sure how the lads in 529 are

For the late fall games move to a semisoft - Talleggio is a friend for those cool days. A burgundy will work here.

Finally for the last few games move to your heavy soft cheeses. Blue or Brie. I prefer a heavy Zin but at this point even a hearty meritage will do.

Tally Ho! and welcome to the club

Awesome. Rep.

And here I thought I could get by with some Thunderbird and Velveeta.

<<<Much to learn.

I hear Scrum is the Godfather of cheese selection.

Gallo in the box and Cheez Whiz in the can. Works well on the move and in tailgates!!! Personally I am a beer and brats kind of guy but it is all good.:cheers2:

    • Do you honestly believe this is a team that will even be in contention for a playoff spot this year? To me, if you're not at minimum a genuine playoff caliber team, every win you get is a meaningless win in the end.  This is the NFL, it's not peewee league where you just want to win a few games and have fun, you want to get into the playoffs and have a shot at making a SB run. We haven't had a winning season in how many years?   Does "enjoying" a small handful of wins every year really make for an enjoyable season for you? I said it months ago and I'll say it forever, I don't care about winning or losing this year, as we don't have a playoff caliber roster yet and I'm a realist about where we are as a franchise.  I'd enjoy watching the games so much more if the team and Bryce in particular were just showing marked improvement, even if it came in losses.   Because THAT would give me hope for the future of the franchise and the direction we're going. Bryce was complete garbage in Week 1, in Week 2 he was terrible until the Cardinals went into super soft prevent defense and then collapsed gain when the game was in reach, and he was a serviceable game manager today, but didn't make any throws that any college QB couldn't make. This game was a perfect chance to let Bryce go out there and play loose because of the lead, just let him be himself and see if it sparks his college self.  But instead, we went unbelievably conservative with the play calling to help ensure the win, when actual wins and losses are the least of our worries this year, it's figuring out what Bryce can be (fans may be decided, but the team obviously has not yet).
    • Pretty fair assessment overall. I can’t say a lot since I didn’t watch but going by the comments I am betting he (Canales) was very conservative and a large reason would be to prevent Bryce giving it away half the day.
