dude your so close to getting neg rep from me..... ... i hope i wasnt as big of an a$$hole as you when i was 19..

Its funny to me because with all of your grand football knowledge im sure you must work for SI or espn and you have just dropped in here to grace us with your insight, and since right now you have more insight than our f*cking coach who has been right there with foster grooming his ass, i am sure you will except this award from me---

a big tall glass of STFU.. u WINY little bitch..

"aww im so tired of all this foster blah, blah, blah, it makes me want to puke,my pu$$y hurts i love D williams" f*cking cry baby.. you couldnt take 1/2 the hits foster does in 1 quarter of a game but you sit safely behind your computer ready to condem the man....

And maybe your to damn stupid to understand loyalty, and foster has been loyal to this team, Fox, and Davis while never bitching, that alone makes him #1 and its his spot to f*ck up...thats why he is the VETERAN and not a rookie...

Stats are for bitches---- they dont win games, some really smart guy by the name of Fox allways says that so dont take my word for it...

Show me where the #1 running back, reciever, offense, defense won the superbowl last year???

dont get caught up in things that dont matter. Heart, will, determination, and focus wins football games not stats.....

hahahhahahahaaha

What’s amazing is a lot of you people write off Keary Colbert after only 2 seasons, and Eric Shelton, who has never even played an NFL down yet,

Man the things we say at the time.

I'm sure I'm guilty of many as well.:yesnod:

what gets lost in the whole deshaun-deangelo debate was that deangelo didn't get through his learning curve until about a year and a half after that thread was made.

Deangelo was a "go straight for the corner" runner at that point so there were legit concerns.

I said for a long time that at least he did that, and didn't take the handoff and dance around behind the line...

This wasn't intended to debate stuff like that, but moreso laugh at how far we have come and how the more things change, the more they stay the same...

That homeboyjase guy was ghey as hell though, if you remember him...

he did dance during a good part of 06. Didn't really get effective until much later in the year. He didn't really get comfortable/assertive with his cutbacks until the end of 07.

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
