I don't feel like opening the article, but did Montana also mention that his sons attended the same private school with Jimmy (along with Will Smith's son and either Gretzky or Lemieux) ?

Just sayin'...

oh ya? that's interesting. that either means montana should know jimmy as good as anyone, or he's just talking him up 'cause he knows him.

Quick question. Everyone keeps saying he's such a douche, but, other than vague statements by the media, what exactly has he done that you KNOW of that makes you say that. And of course, I'm talking since his freshmen year, when everyone knows he came in too cocky and flashy.

I'm asking because I hear all this bitching about him, but haven't seen anything myself that gives that impression at all...other than the general confidence/cockyness that most QB's have. I'm not saying there isn't anything wrong, but other than when he first got to ND, I've only heard unspecific and unsubstantiated comments about his attitude. So, I'm just curious how many of you are basing your slamming him on nothing but the fact that others say he's a douche, have heard something specific and relatively recent (within the last year or so), or how many are just screwing around.

I really don't get the "Clausen is arrogant" talk. So he came to ND in a limo...Who the hell cares? They needed pub at the time and he gave them a ton of it. I've never seen such psychoanalysis of a QB that is as talented as Clausen.

Well, I know some unnamed people at Notre Dame said he was a dick, but he generally keeps it out of the public eye at least. Basically he speaks his mind in the huddle and will say what needs to be said even if maybe it rubs someone the wrong way.

Like maybe telling a lineman they couldn't block a retard on a unicycle or something along those lines.

There's also the Gruden interview where he "blamed" an interception on a receiver running the wrong route.

I think a lot it comes from his overall flamboyance and that he's this rich, spoiled brat. And yeah, he kinda is. But I mean, he did grow up in socal though, what do you expect.
