Waits for claws or hms mike to defend jj in 3....2....1

You rang? :D

In defense of the 48, I really thought at the time he didn't realize the closing rate and had moved down to draft with him and go to the front. Jimmie said the same thing last nite.

I don't know what to make of all the bullshit right now between the two.

If it's any consolation, I do think Gordon's a bitch.

Maybe Gordon is getting tired of being second fiddle to Jimmie. Before Johnson came to Hendrick Gordon was averaging almost 6 wins per season. After Jimmie started at Hendrick in 2002 Gordon has averaged 2.6 wins per season.

I'm quite sure that's part of it. He's jealous. Now he wants to start running into our ass and doesn't like that we bite back.

fug em.

After seeing the replay just now it did seem like Jimmie was sliding down to pick up the bottom draft and they were just coming too fast. Maybe Gordon should have checked up a little and just picked up Jimmies bumper. Or he could have just ran him over.

    • I never thought a second look was even necessary. I was begging the football gods not to have us trade up to the 1st pick. And damn once we did it was a thoroughbred vs a little pony.    If you have a perceived generational player in the pool and you have the 1st pick, you just don’t trade it. In the first place. But all this Bryce drama - which (understandably) takes over almost any thread, just like this one - would never have happened if the team was not sold to Tepper.
    • I agree. I understand why he did though. And surely he had his parents in his ear who have always gone out of their way to make sure he always had the best and the least amount of adversity around him to that point in his life advising him to do so. Where I take the most issue with it is when people who just want to be sycophants start listing off other QB's who didn't throw at the combine and you don't even make it through half the names before your eyes roll right into the back of your head realizing every single of those QB's who didn't throw already clearly showcased the necessary prerequisite physical talents needed for the position.
