Celtics got this one. I knew with the veterans on their team they would respond. But the Cavs have to feel good about their trip to Boston. They made a big statement in Game 3 regaining home court and had their chances to win today. Headed back to Cleveland they've got to feel good about taking control of this series.

Series tied up at 2 heading back to Cleveland

Rajon Rondo had 29 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists, and the Boston Celtics beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 97-87 on Sunday to even the Eastern Conference semifinals at two games apiece.

Rondo had a playoff career high in rebounds and matched his best scoring night in his fourth postseason triple-double. He played 47 minutes with some of his bigger-name teammates in foul trouble, and fans chanted “MVP! MVP!” as he knocked down a pair of free throws with 17 seconds left.

Cleveland is exploring options for LBJ to guard Rondo

Rajon Rondo is playing very well and putting up numbers usually reserved for Hall-of-Famers.

Tough luck.

LeBron said it might be time for the Cavs to "explore" having him guard Rondo since Rondo's vanquished Mo Williams and a second-look at Anthony Parker didn't work as well as the first.

That's nice of him.

None of the above matters that much as to whether the Cavs will win the series with the Celtics. Oh, it will be written and talked about a great deal over the next couple of days. I'll probably address some of those issues more in depth. There's merit and analysis in there to be done.

Lebron looks pitful out there tonight.... He legitmately looks like he doesn't care at all what happens. I really really doubt he ends up playing in Cleveland next year... the scary part is what are the Cavs without him? A bunch of washed up, overpayed, superstar-wannabes, man I would hate to be a Cavs fan. Sure they will be able to get a Joe Johnson and maybe a Rudy Gay but that still leaves them a five seed a best in the East for the next six years.

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
