Who would you like to see get Rookie of the Year and who do you think has the best shot?

Personally, I would like to see LaFell or Edwards get it. That means the run game's firing and whoever is QB is playing lights out.

IF Clausen starts, he probably has the best opportunity, though I would rather see him develop first.

rookie of the year for the team, or for the league? i don't think any of them have a decent shot at a league award. maybe clausen does if he starts the vast majority of the year, but that's unlikely. the rookie with the best year as far as the team goes will probably be lafell 'cause he'll see the most playing time.

I think due to how we should use him (everywhere we can) I would go with Edwards. He should get plenty of chances at recieving, running, and returning and hopefully some wildcat and trick passes. I just hope he turns into Josh Cribbs in the return game and Harvin in the slot. How could I possibly be disappointed?

      well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying

      All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.

      I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
