Another thing I really don't understand is why they still allow Ohio State to be ranked in the top 10 every year.

They just need to institute a rule that says they can be ranked 11th max, because those sods just suck up the joint in big games.

Florida won, SEC is the best conference, nuff said.

And don't gimme that USC nonsense either, they are like the Cardinals, they play in a sh*t division/conference and are rarely tested.

East coast bias!!! USC would stomp Florida. Ah hell, I'm not even gonna debate it. It's pointless. I'm glad college football is over. Until the National championship is decided on the field with a playoff system, I'm not interested.

NFL is where it's at. Go Cards!

Yea sucks to be you lol, not only will USC finish 2nd or 3rd in the polls, but the Cards are going to lose Saturday as well.

USC would be a 2 loss team every year at best if they played in the SEC. GJ on beating that 0-12 team, rofl. The WACK-10.........plz

Plus you have no idea where I live.

It's kind of hard to stomp what you can't catch. :D

I'm not a USC fan. Just think they deserve a shot. As does Utah. Sucks debating this crap. I'd love to be able to say that Florida deserves the N.C. There will always be that what if? That sucks.

I'm a University of Arizona Alum. Wildcats football has perennially sucked, so it doesn't bother me much to not follow college football.

Well you guys won your bowl game at least, and hell I hope yall beat USC next year ;)

I personally would LOVE a playoff, I am totally pro playoff.

(because like I said the top SEC team would win just about every year anyway)

Everyone has this great team, this great that, great offense blabla. Until you play a top SEC team.(or in TT's case a mid level SEC team LOL)

Except every runningback who has run the wildcat has infinitely better speed and agility than The Golden Calf of Bristol and are just as powerful. He will outrun zero players in the NFL.

Putting The Golden Calf of Bristol at QB is a terrible investment.

You don't put money into a player who takes hits like he will. There aren't seven powder puff teams you play every year in the NFL.

hmm if i said The Golden Calf of Bristol, this post might be relevant ......

saw NE use cassel as a runing back right up the gut and around the edge out of the shotgun this year. only reason The Golden Calf of Bristol has to do it is they have no big rbs. all they have are a bunch of speed backs, if they need tough yards he is their only option, big difference between that and every other nfl team.

what is the real reason for all the The Golden Calf of Bristol hate??? idk if i have seen a guy hated more or picked apart more than him.

I'd care a whole lot more if they had an 8 team playoff. Some assholes behind closed doors deciding who's number 1?

Imagine if the NFL stopped playing right now and they voted on the two teams to play for the Lombardi.

Bullsh*t.

Exactly, the entire rankings system in college football is straight stupid. If that was the case Kevin, Carolina would never see a Superbowl.

just like the widecat couldnt work? heck for 1 year the falcons used a runner in vick and even won a playoff game like that. heck the run and gun the same thing that everyone hates in the hawaii offense, calling it a gimmic was run in houston with warren moon. saying becasue right now it isnt used in the nfl doesnt mean it wont work. one that popped up outa college good ol wildcat.

not saying it is sure to work, but writing it off is short sited. parts of it have already worked its way into the nfl (wildcat is not that far off lining The Golden Calf of Bristol up and running straight outa the gun).

What I'm saying is that The Golden Calf of Bristol isn't going to run over anybody like that in the NFL. They can run their shotguns all day long and pull those trick jump passes, but that sh*t doesn't fly in professional football. The Golden Calf of Bristol isn't a Michael Vick.

I bet the atheist or satanist type people would hate The Golden Calf of Bristol, or just the jealous people.

Is funny though, should tell you a lot about yourself if you hate such a good person like Tim. He would be a great person to get all that money from the NFL, with all the aid and help he does here and over seas.

Haters will always be haters, just laugh at em, always seems to make em hate even more. :sifone:

LOL oh really?

The Golden Calf of Bristol is 6' 2" 238, Brad Hoover is 6' 0" 245............

What part of that says to you "he isn't going to run over anyone in the nfl"?

    • Yep. I was hoping for and calling for a day three guy. But I didn’t research the position to say if we should or should‘t have jumped at a particular guy at a particular spot.    And everything I read said it was a poor draft for RBs depth wise. I guess when Seattle takes a backup RB in the 1st, that kind of backs that up.    I definitely think we should keep 4 running backs and if King can play well enough then keep him too.    I believe I heard Canales say we are a running team (talking about drafting a WR he will be needing to block as well as catch). Well if we are gonna be a running team by identity we don’t need to stock the WR room to overflowing. If one room has to sacrifice, it should not be the RB room given our circumstances.
    • If there's a pattern I'm definitely picking up from Dan and company is a philosophy of making trades where we try not to sacrifice the number of draft picks we have by day's end. In other words, we're not giving up three picks for one, or giving up a future pick to make a pick today. And even if we give up something at the start, we make trades later to make up for that initial loss. Here's how it stacked up for 2026: How we started: 19, 51, 83, 119, 158, 159, 200 How we ended: 19, 49, 83, 129, 144, 151, 227 (no future picks sacrificed) Ultimately, we moved up two spots in the second to ensure we got someone we coveted, gave up a few spots for our fourth round pick, but then had better picks in the 5th (and got really good value out of them), and had a worse 7th rounder which isn't that big of a loss anyways.  At this point, we can question who they draft, but they're pretty good maneuvering across the draft board.
    • I just saw the funniest thing...or very disappointing, depending how you handle misery. A guy on YouTube did a 2027 'way too early' mock draft.  If I told you the simulator has the Panthers selecting in the top 10 , what would you say?  If I told you it was pick #8 and only two QBs were taken in the top 7, what would you say?  If I told you this dude had us taking a defensive player, what would you say?
