Teams headed for trouble in 2010

Recommended Posts

You're gonna compare baseball- no salary cap, and the team with the most free agents usually wins- to football? Really? Good luck.

Salary cap doesnt matter, The Yanks only have one it one time in the past ten years and they always have the top player salaries each year. Many times in sports its the young underpaid teams that win it all because they have had so many trades for young talent and can get that one big FA that they need to fill in a hole to win it all. The Angels, Marlins and white sox are some of the world series champs that have won it with less these past ten years. Not to mention just like we did in 2003 many baseball teams have had loaded young teams and went to the world series only to come up short like the Rays and Rockies. You can compare baseball to football just like any other sport.

Sure you have your rich teams like the Yanks and Red sox who buy their players but they don't win it every year. In Football you also have teams that buy players like the New England Patriots had had Randy moss and each year it seems they always seemed to be able to get a couple of big FA but it was the Giants who took them out and made the biggest upset in sports history. In each sport you have teams that always are big spenders like the Red Skins and Cowboys who are like the Yankees every and somehow always get a big free agent every year. The NBA has the Lakers who even with the Salary cap will get a NBA superstar on their roster each year like Ron Artest this year or how they landed Pau Gasol for some late 1st round picks and some no name players. Every sport can relate teams to one another.

Also have you forgot that this year there is no Salary cap in the NFL? I don't know if you know that or not but I figured you should by now.

no one in the nfl is 100% consistent....the poster child for inconsistency is a little inaccurate, not saying you said this but just because you see him get stood up by a o linemen once or twice a game doesn't mean much.nor am im saying he wasn't inconsistent
