Gears of War 3

after doing some research I believe this game will be a noobd out lagfest that takes 20 minutes to find a match like gow2. Single player might be fun but FIX THE MULTIPLAYER!

I will rent before I buy this time so if the MP is like Gears 2, I will save $55 bucks.

I never played GoW2, but I enjoyed the first one a lot. And yeah Smash, renting it always a good choice. I almost never buy games on release anymore, because a couple months down the road they will be half price. ME2 was the only game in a long time I paid a full $59.99 for.

the first GoW was amazing, everything about it, but GoW2 was HORRIBLE. I will rent this game before I buy it like someone else said, I wasted $60 on GoW2.

I agree 100%

I don’t recall me being more pumped for a game like I was for GOW2. The single player was good but multiplayer was constant lag. I wasted $60 on GOW2 and will most definitely rent GOW3 before buying it.

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
