Modern Warfare Map Pack 2

I mostly hate MW2, and yeah I'm good at it, it's just stupid. Commando, Marathon/Lightweight, early glitches, prestige cheaters, rewarding people that suck with "deathstreaks", too many killstreaks, you name it. I play it cause my friends play it but if a solid replacement came along I'd probably take it.

I can't believe they chose Vacant as a map, that sucks. Should have put Ambush or Backlot or something.

There is a solid replacement. Its called Bad Company 2.

Yeah if my friends played it. I've heard just as much criticism about that game though.
Really, like what? I actually didn't like the first BFBC game (although I didn't play that one online). But I love this one. After playing with helicopters, tanks, BMD's, destructible environment and the different distinct classes, I don't think I could ever play CoD again. Then again, I didn't have any allegiance to any FPS since I haven't had the opportunity to play online all that much until now.

I was on the "MW2 Sucks. BF:BC2 is the best!" bandwagon for a while. Then BF:BC2 became just as stale as MW2 to me. All its 4 game modes really didn't keep me intrigued. And it's a game in which I didn't have hardly any fun at all unless I was playing with someone I knew. Now I switch back and forth, which was surprisingly difficult at first. Though I can say that I'll be dropping both of those games for a while when Red Dead Redemption comes out tomorrow.

All first person shooters grow stale at some point. I'd say Halo is probably the best shooter franchise out there in terms of longevity though.

And I think I'll try out the demo for BC2. I've never paid any attention to it, but its gameplay videos looked pretty interesting.

Edit: Never mind, the demo was for the first BC.

Yea, all games grow stale period. But Bf:BC2 only lasted me a few weeks before I grew tired of it. But I'm fairly new to FPS online play, so that may be why I got so many hours out of MW2.

    • I have said if you out even an average QB into the offense we are averaging 25+ points a game. But that will never happen with Bryce under center.
    • The defense is 28 out of 32 in salary cap allocation for 2025. We have a ton of resources tied up in the offense including the highest paid OL in the league multiple 1st round WR's and multiple recent draft picks across the offense at TE and RB and we have two 1000 yard backs. Bryce and company couldn't get past Tyler Shough and his crew in 2 games. That's all there is to it. You can spin it and put the entire onus on the defense to your heart's desire it doesn't change the fact that this is an OFFENSIVE team now. If you want to argue that we should revert back to a defensive identity as we have been in the past which has brought us success then I will agree with you on that. But as it stands the onus is on the offense because that is where we have invested through the nose. Dave Canales and Bryce Young need to do a hell of a lot better than they have against the rebuilding Saints who without us should only have 2 wins this season.
    • Bryce is not trending up. He is the same QB he has always been. Bottom of the league in most categories.  If Canales thinks he can build a contender with Bryce then he is a bigger idiot then I thought.  Offense next year will have the same issues and be just as inconsistent as it was this year.  We have seen Bryce’a ceiling and it is 175 yards a game and that is not a QB you keep around as your starter. That is barely a backup.
