I've lived in North Carolina my entire life.

I've been accepted to law school at Chapel Hill.

Pacific University is pretty much begging me to apply there. I did some research and their law school is ranked 98th overall, so it wouldn't be a terrible place to go for a year and then transfer, especially since I'd love to spend a year in California. Plus, they're ranked 15th in international law, which is the area I'm currently interested in. I think that's better than UNC actually.

The down side is that if I change my mind about international law it's harder to get in to UNC as a transfer student than it is as a first year student. A lot harder, actually.

I don't know if there are two Pacific Universities or what, but the one that keeps pestering me is in Sacramento.

Okay it's university of the pacific and not pacific university apparently that's a big deal idk. I do lile Oregon though. Outside of OU and OSU I don't know much about their law schools though.

And Saramento puts me closer to So Cal than Chapel Hill.

I could fly to LA quicker than you could drive down from Sac. You are close to Reno and Donners Pass and only about 1.5 hours from San Fran

I'm going to be honest, Chapel Hill really is the douchiest place, at least on the East Coast. Especially if you aren't a student.

And I can't fly at all that's kinda my whole issue Panthro. Driving there is my only option if I ever wanted to go there.

Do the right thing and just go to UNC law.

Then after getting out, move full time to San Diego if you want to live there for a while.
