please let the season start so we can end these what if threads.

You say that now, but what if the season starts and there is nothing worthy to make a thread about? Oh, my friend, then you will yearn for the days of the "What If" threads.

I would no longer have threads to spam in and derail. :(

While it may have made sense on paper to keep Jake around, it could have easily created a divided locker room because he is/was such a great leader... half the guys in that locker room would have thought Jake deserved to start from day 1 and the minute Moore struggled they would be pushing to send Jake out there - which may or may not have been the right thing to do.

I truly think there is something wrong with Jake's arm. No WR would ever say anything other than his arm is "stronger than ever" just for the sake of being a good teammate, but Jake doesn't seem to be able to put the ball where he wants to put it anymore and this lead to all the int's, which lead to the damaged confidence. I wish Jake the best, but I have a hard time believing he will have the kind of career rebirth Kurt Warner did. For every Kurt Warner story there are 100 stories of guys who were washed up.

As for Moore and Clausen, we won't know until we get there. I have a hard time believing Moore could really crap the bed after his performance in those last 5 games. He might struggle and be non-productive but I think he's smart and skilled enough to be a decent game manager if nothing else. Clausen is a wildcard, he could be the next Montana or the next Quinn.

    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
    • 1.) LaMelo 2.) Kon 3.} Miller 4.. Giannis 5.) Moose   1.) Coby 2.) ? 3.) Sion 4.) Miles Bridges 5.) Kalk That squad would win multiple chips.
