Backbreaker S-U-C-K-S

Awesomeness!!

Recommended Posts

I'm so tired of all these Madden haters ridding this game like its the second coming of NFL2k5. It looks like a 2003 version of blitz for the Gamecube or a game you'll play at the greyhound bus station or something. People cherry pick Madden. I saw a video on youtube where some guy was mad the WRs didn't look blink or something when the ball was coming. If you want REAL simulation football, go put on a helment and pads. Its a video game, their savior backbreaker isn't flawless. The crowd is pathetic. It looks like a group of 3rd graders got together and made the crowd on the school computers or something. Yuck. I like the "god angle" that Madden has an even 2k5 had it. Backbreaker has this shitty first person point of view angle, where you can't even see half of the field. Its trying to hard to be anti- Madden.

People have been saying they are going to boycott Madden for a decade, and it still sells out so...this year will be no different

I know the camera and audio sucks..but I was so mad after downloading this I had to rant, I just had to....yuck. I quickly deleted this peice of junk off of my harddrive, took out my harddrive and said sorry for ever having it on there.

real time physics > scripted animations

Backbreaker crushes Madden. Hell, NFL2k4 does as well. Madden has been pure sh*t since the Xbox 360 came out. I love how people are saying the game sucks already, when it takes time to even get the hang of playing it.

But that's okay, keep paying $60 every year for a glitchy gimped POS of a football game lol

This game is innovation. Not many people like innovation or change these days.

I will say this though, the game does have it's own flaws...but with the first game of something new, I'm very impressed. I also love the create custom features in the game.

I like backbreaker because of the physics. It uses naturalmotion..so NO tackle is EVER the same. It's great once you get used to the controls, and camera angle. And plus..it's not even coming out at full price. (will be 49.99) So, this is pretty much a buy for me.

That's why I like it. It's something new, ya know? I'm sick of EA sports... I just want to play a realistic football game. Hopefully these guys that made Backbreaker will get a shot to make an NFL game after that BS exclusive license crap is dead.

Madden 10/11 is still the most complete football game we have right now. I can't wait to the BS license thing to be over either, because I would love for 2k to start making NFL games. 2k owns EA sports in even aspect of sports gaming, and EA knows it. This Backbreaker crap just doesn't come close though.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
