I spent the day tracking down my favorite beer, Founders KBS. It was just released and is already probably gone from Charlotte. With the bottles I found and some bottles I traded for, I should have a total of nine (after drinking one last night). That's plenty, as I only have them every few months or so.

Tonight I had a Bootlegger's Black Phoenix Chipotle Coffee Stout. I got it in a trade after wanting to try it for a while. I love coffee, chipotle and stouts, so it just made sense. It was a really nice stout. The coffee was subtle but very flavorful; I couldn't detect much of the chipotle, though.

just got home from Pizza Peel. One of my favorite places to drink beers.

Shazam...Sexual Chocolate on the menu...but. Of course, they just ran out tonite...

So i order a Founders Imperial. Second disappointment. All the high gravity beers are now 8oz pours. But doesnt look like they lowered the prices at all.

Kind of sucked.

That sucks indeed. How'd you like the Founders Imperial Stout, though? I think it's one of the best of the style.

Yes, it definitely is! I've been on a Tripel kick lately myself. I recently had Flying Fish Exit 4, which was good but a little bit different (there was some flavor I just couldn't put my finger on -- almost like basil).

I also picked up Anderson Valley's Brother David's Triple. Instead of taking the beer shop guy's word, I probably should have looked up reviews first. It's got a B- on Beer Advocate. Oh well, it's just one beer and I'm sure I can find something I like about it.

Yeah, that little piss poor glass was a disappointment. Not sure when they started that. Its been almost a year since id been there. Havent had many chances with the new kid and all. I can tell you, i will definitely be less likely to go back. Last year we went quite a bit.

$6.50 for an 8oz pour sucks

      I thought he was from watching him play and also doing his first HC job. I thought he was the real deal  Apparently what happened is Kraft committed to Mayo and I don’t remember the timeline exactly - but Vrabel was unemployed at the same time Belichick was unemployed. They both were fired (or out) after the 2023 season.  Kraft hired Mayo. Who was kind of an obvious disaster. He probably already had the deal in place but I will give Kraft credit for not sleeping. With Vrabel out there for 2025 he made the move he needed to make and if it hurt Mayo’s feelings then oh well.  I guess you can tell I am not fond of Kraft but that was a really savvy move. At his age, pretty good. Still has it.

      It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.
