I know you guys are joking but we have someone on staff that would resign if we drafted a kicker before round 6. I'm not looking him up but we have a staffer in analytics that wrote a big ass paper one why you should NEVER draft a kicker unless its with a 7th rounder and even then its a bad investment.

I am making fun of us but there is some truth to this level of dysfunction. It's really anyones guess the moves we will make.

We only made one K pick in the 7th and it ended up being one of the best kickers in the NFL. As per our usual dysfunction, that K has played in 5 Super Bowls in his 8 years in the league, winning 3. He’s never not been in the playoffs and he’s never not won his division. He’s 17-5 in the playoffs while we are 0-1 in the same 8 years.

You really can’t make this poo up.

    • Last year’s draft was bad and we all pretty much knew it afterwards except the eternal optimists. This year’s draft was way better. It still hinges on TMac working out and actually getting edge production, but there were no obvious WTF did we take him over XYZ. This draft could end up great or bad, but it has actual potential. Last year’s was a it’ll be great if somehow we hit the lottery odds.
    • Which one do we like better? For me it’s Nalo it’s more unique
    • You should go look up their coverage splits, Morgan also discusses it. Each has ample experience deep and in the box.  What I like about both is that they will come up and knock your head off in run support.  Let this FO do their thing; I think they've earned some grace this off-season.
