NFL’s Most Underrated: Carolina Panthers

OGDraft

Recommended Posts

What up Panthers fans. I run a blog called OGDraft which is basically where I will be posting all of my draft information. I enjoy scouting and writing scouting reports and all that jazz. Anyways to pass some time until the college football season gets here, I decided to blog about underrated players around the league. 1 from each team, starting with the NFC South.

For the Panthers I decided to go with Gary Barnidge... and I just noticed you guys just had a debate about him too lol.

Anyways here is the link

I hope you guys enjoy the read. It's time to show some love to the underrated guys out there!

 Good Article but lets see how he plays this year.

J. Stew is still hugely underrated if you ask me.

Another good option would have been Captain Munnerlyn, Chris Gamble, or this guy:

Psstt...it's the guy deadlifting in the background.

Babinueax has always been solid...

When I saw that, I thought "Babineaux is underrated?" I think most in the league know he's a very good player.

I do agree with your assessment of Barnidge, OGDraft. I certainly hope we start targeting our tight-ends more. I think we will. Barnidge and Rosario both have the potential to really contribute to our passing game.

Thanks for the comments guys. Naturally there will always be debate as to who is MORE underrated and that's fine. I looked at a few guys and ultimately decided on Barnidge.

As for Babineaux I still don't think he gets the amount of attention he deserves. I have never heard his name being brought up when discussing the best DT's in the league. This is a guy that, according to ProFootballFocus(whether you are a fan or not of the site) was rated as the #1 4-3 DT in the NFL, by a pretty healthy margin.
