Baltimore Sun scouts the Panthers

I read somewhere that Moore was "disappointing" last year. People just say "his last name isn't Manning, Brees, Rodgers, Favre, Brady, Roethlisberger, Flacco or Ryan, so he sucks."

Flacco isn't even that good, He can't carry a team through the post season, don't worry just run over them and you should win the ball game.

The Panthers could be a 10-6 team this season if their defense plays some panther football of the 02's and allowd just 18.9 points per game.

I think Flacco's biggest problem was his injury last year. And its not Flacco who I am worried about.

Believe it or not I think Ravens will be one of the best teams in football next year if they stay healthy, a long with the Bengals. I think our team can do as good as 10-6 next year I just think both the Bengals and Ravens game will be the two hardest games on our schedule.

The Ravens and Bengals are both really physical teams that are good at stopping the run, and running the ball. I'll be rooting for the Panthers like crazy in both games I just don't see it happening in either game unless we get a lot of turnovers or Matt Moore goes off.

Meh, the Ravens are overrated, if Reed isn't fully recovered by the seasons start the Baltimore's secondary is really screwed, he might not even fully recovery, their secondary sucks anyways.

There defense is also aging rapidly, Lewis isn't as he was, Reed is always hurt, Suggs is not as good anymore (judging by sacks compared to our teams)

The Bengals for you guys will be the harder game imo, you wont pass as well on their secondary but their run game is pretty good.

But Williams and Stewart will still run all over them. Your run stoppin' will be key duing those two games, Ray Rice will be a nuisance, and it remains to be seen if Benson will still be with the bengals, being raped in a jail cell or suspended.

Good Luck though, I know you guys can both beat them.

Speaking of being raped, when do you guys expect Big Ben to be back?

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
