I think Saito was awake in the helicopter. Then from there is was back and forth between dream and reality.

The was Leo dreaming part now seems to be highlighted by the way his crew interacted with him in the airport.

Only Michael Caine seemed to fully acknowledge him there. Also Leo warned against memories and never wanted to know the full layout of a dream for his own protection, but only the girl knew that.

Part of a review from Empire

The third act makes Memento seem about as complex as Bear In The Big Blue House. And while there is remarkable clarity given the complexity, you are pummelled with information and have to keep up — pay attention, figure it out.

I really couldn't pay attention to the movie last night because the husband that was sitting behind me had to explain what was what to his dimwit wife every 20 seconds.

"This is the third level honey"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, i'm sure"

"Why did they have to have 3 different dreams?"

"It's the same dream, just with 3 levels to it"

"Is this the first dream?"

"No, this is the 3rd level of the dream"

"Well, why aren't they on the plane still?"

"That was the start of the inception"

"I don't know why they have to go into his dreams"

"to Plant the idea that he wants to tear apart his father's empire."

"Then why is the Father helping them?"

"He's not"

"The asian guy isnt his father?"

:confused5::mad2:

That was a real convo they had at one point..Anyways......

I would like to believe he was awake, but I really think he was dreaming. The top never started to really topple.

This is why I refuse to go to movies unless it's the matinee and I can pick out a nice spot near the screen without anyone close to me. Between conversations like this one, cellphones lighting up with text messages or worse...calls actually taken, and women opening up those damn plastic candy packages over and over again, it's hard to enjoy the movie experience in a packed theater.

Buddy and I saw the matinee. I said only a few words which is rare for me. I will have some mild commentary but this film it seemed that EVERY person who spoke you were hanging on their every word to keep up. That's rare.

Heres one thing I'm a little fuzzy on.

If Cobb needed to stay in limbo to find Sato, how did they get out of the 3rd, 2nd, and 1st levels with nobody there to kick them? Everybody else made it to the real world right?

Did they just have to wait for the sedative to wear off at each level? That would have taken a long ass time.

The biggest flaw as I can tell in this movie is the lack of hot naked women. I mean, all those guys bring their projections into the mix and not one set of naked tits? C'mon.

You can see the wife totally nude in another film. Nice bod, too.

P.S. Not the wife in the movie. I'm talking YOUR wife. Sorry I didn't clarify that.

I was led to believe that when the van kicked the 1st level, the elevator kicked the 2nd and the bomb kicked the 3rd, that all Cobb and Saito needed to do was kill each other in limbo and they would return to reality since there forms in the those levels had been kicked already or were killed (Leo in the van).

    • If Reich or Fitterer were still around I think the need to extend Young because of what he cost would be stronger.  And yeah Morgan was Fit's right hand when the call was made but there an equal chance that Dan will see it as a chance to move on from Fit and shake off that stink. Holding out some hope that 3 years and clear eyes will allow for an honest appraisal that Young just aint the guy
    • As far as elite/elevate talent QB’s It’s Allen Mahomes Jackson and Burrow that’s it.  Then we have tiers and those can be debated all day Dak is a good QB but I know this board would want him out of Charlotte if he was the QB here. 2 playoff wins in 10 years. Justin Herbert no playoff wins. Threw 4 interceptions in last years playoff game. 23 TD passes last year. 20 the year below and 25 the year before that. This board loves stats without context and these stats aren’t saying they’re much above complimentary  Kyler Murray isn’t good. I’m not sure how he made this list.  Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence both benefiting from some real good offensive coaches right now. They’re both complimentary pieces until proven otherwise  I like Jordan Love. Always have. I wanted to draft him but he isn’t a superstar.  CJ Stroud hasn’t been much better than Bryce after his rookie season. After that Bears game year 2 his numbers very similar to Bryce I will say I think Drake Maye is well on his way to becoming the next top tier QB if I had to pick one from this entire list. I’d also say Baker Mayfield is a damn good QB and I’d take him over most of those guys not in the elite category  Now if you want to debate tools and which QB’s possess tools to put them in higher tiers that’s a completely different discussion. Most QB’s on your main list all have those physical tools that will keep you thinking he’ll become the next top tier QB. They’ll sprinkle in a “wow” play or two a game. Bryce will never look that way. Young’s game at its peak will physically always look different and I think that’s where most people struggle when it comes to seeing how Young’s can be successful in the league  All QB’s need a team around them. I think the Bills are failing Josh Allen much like the Panthers did Cam. Beane and McDermott using same blueprint with Bills team. Josh Allen hasn’t had much in terms of WR’s and it’s ultimately costing them when it matters the most
