Davis is already on the road to recovery

Thomas Davis (ACL tear) has started running in a pool.

Davis had his second ACL surgery in his right knee on June 12 and it's unclear when he'll start running on dry land. The snake-bitten linebacker is still holding out hope of contributing this season, but that would be a borderline miracle.

i love TD but we have alot o young unknown talent on the roster and with 2 surgeries i dont see TD coming back 2 play for the panthers anymore i wish he would get healthy and sign a long term deal but i think norwood is TD replacement...any thoughts

I hate to say it, but TD wants to get paid. I see this as his primary motivation.

Contract year, and injured twice to the same knee, he knows that his value is falling. If I were TD, I would bite the bullet, and focus on next year. It has to suck knowing that this year was coming and then become disappointed so close to pay day.

The man is superman then, that's one heck of a fast healing time for an ACL. He just had the surgery a month ago. It's what a 6-10 month recovery.

depends on how it was torn. A small tear you will not have the full year of recovery. Still I doubt he will be ready to go this season.

He might not have been the same before this last surgery. He tore the same ligament on the same leg. Thats not a good sign and makes me think he was done even before this last surgery. I still hold out hope for him though.
