It would have if they wouldn't have moved a legitimate discussion thread regarding Kenny Moore into it.

Wait, I'm not objective enough so I'm not allowed to make a thread about Kenny Moore! Ok, it can go ahead and die.

little advice for you...make a thread about someone being cut after a bad performance in a preseason game, your thread will come here every time. just trying to help ;)

LOL again, I wasn't making the thread about the catch that was called back b/c of the penalty. This is ridiculous.

If my thread wasn't a relevant discussion why has it already gotten this many responses in this bullshit ass thread?

I have said repeatedly now - it was based off watching this over a year's time... True, I don't expect him to be a great receiver, but I don't think he is a very good one either. People on here are always riding his jock talking about how great he is and since he's been with us, I haven't seen it. People are talking about him like he should be a #2 or slot guy - slot guys have to be sure handed, and I haven't seen that. At best I think he's a 4 or 5 on the depth chart, and I don't think he's even that right now.

He was good at Wake, he's not in the NFL. Faster than Jarrett? LOL... Ok, so is that good? Jason Baker is probably faster than Jarrett.

I guess Wake faithful will continue to 'disagree.'

So then, why not start a thread about cutting Jarrett. Or Lafell, who screwed up several times tonight. My point isn't that he is a great or even good receiver, but so far, he is better than most of the others.

I agree, we need to upgrade the position. But singling out Moore when the others are just as bad or worse is a mistake imo.

    • I see both sides of the arguments, but compared to last year we're somehow at an upgrade over completely fried Dalton and wasn't even good in college Plummer. At least Pickett and Grier probably have some desire to make more money when Dalton was happy to just go through the motions and I will never understand why they even bothered with Plummer.
    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
