Direct TV

Just got off the phone with direct tv... I can get the premire package, (which includes NFL Sunday Ticket!) seven receivers (one high-def DVR and one regular high-def) for $150 a month.

That is what I am paying now for TV and five of the TV's don't have cable boxes.

I love DirecTV. However, I had to switch to Dish Network because when I left my slutty wife, the apartment I moved in didn't have line of sight to DirecTV. I would rather watch TV through antenna's than order Time Warner Cable.

Phone number? PM me......:D

God. Charter makes Cable look like the greatest company on Earth. We had them in Boone. There is nothing worse than Charter.

Agreed. We had no choice here. Time Warner wasn't offered. Charter has been nothing but problems. Direct TV looks like the way to go for sure.

if y'all pull Jan or Feb (forget which) Consumer Reports, you can get a better idea on what cable/satellite company is better..

Charter was the worst in the nation, 2 spots below TWC... anything else is a win compared to those 2...

(total of 16 companies were reviewed)

3- AT&T

4- DirecTV

7- Dish

13- TWC

16- Charter

***results were based on SIGNAL RELIABILITY, Audio & Video quality, and Channel Selection***

    • Yeah, honestly being a long-term backup is at least as much about being a good lockerroom presence and accepting your role as a supporting piece and not being a greasy wheel as much as it does about ability. Backup QB requires a completely different mindset than the starter and some guys just can't make that switch. It doesn't make them bad guys or locker room cancers or anything like that, it just makes them not what you're looking for in a long-term backup. You bring in that type of guy to compete. You don't bring in that type of guy if you're not looking for competition.
    • Im saying its Tar Heel fans who would do that. I root for all Panthers to succeed regardless but college affiliation means zero to me
    • We have some good pieces.  Enough to be competitive week to week.  Coaching seems to be improving but they’ve made it much harder on themselves than needed.  There are very good reasons to be optimistic about the future. However, I don’t trust them yet.  Wins are odd looking and mostly ugly.  Our opponents have to have a bad day for us to hang with them.  A lot of that is because we still haven’t figured out the most important position and will continue until it’s solved. I think Morgan has done a nice job in both the draft and FA so far.  He’s getting better each day he’s in that position. As far as the players listed, I’m pretty much in agreement.  XL and Bryce are not performing the way they should at this point.  I will say XL could see more success in a vertical passing attack to better utilize his speed. And as always, Fug Tepper.
