Starting to think my house might be haunted.

The last couple of months just odd stuff has been happening. From the did I just see a shadow stuff to more prounounced.

For example. About two weeks ago, I was in my office and my kids were saying something and I was paying partial attention and going yeah, uh huh. Then I answered yeah to what I thought was a question about putting a battery charger down on the floor in the hall.

I have a rechargeable leaf blower that I had used earlier that day and thought maybe I put the battery at the end of the hall. No big deal.

Well, later that night I walk by and see a rechargeable battery station plugged in the wall. My wife, my girls thought I had done that and I thought they were talking about the big battery. So I ask did anybody plug that in the wall? Umm no. And what's odd is I had that on top of a bookcase that I NEVER EVER use. So thought that was odd but oh well.

Now, ever so often, just odd noises. Then today another one.

My girls are cleaning up/getting ready to go to a party. They are starting to get rough with each other and not helping so I go in to lighten the tone. I go ok guys, lets group hug, then I over do the bear hug and start goofing with them etc. Suddenly a fan in thier room just turns ON. We all stopped what we were doing and looked at each other like that was strange.

More to come. :ee:

One of our friends has been having puddles of water appear randomly around their kitchen and bathroom. They can't figure out how it's showing up on the floor. Well they also just found out that their daughter has aspergers. the wife was reading about aspergers on the net and came across something saying people with aspergers are capable of psychokinesis. So they are convinced their daughter is making the puddles of water appear with her mind.

I don't think your house is haunted. I think you're bored.

you sure it's not just a leak somewhere... there are water pipes in the bathroom and kitchen.

I think it's one of their kids dropping ice or spilling water or something.

They say the water it's not near the pipes. They also claim their daughters aren't spilling water or anything but when you have 2 kids between ages 5-7 you can't be sure they aren't dropping pieces of ice or playing with the water etc.

Obviously I think we are just missing some very important details and once those details are found out it will lead to a natural explanation.

I just noticed that my PS3 had been turned on, the controller had been moved, and there were 5 empty Mountain Dew cans strewn around the room.

I suspected nothing suspicious until I noticed that someone - or rather, something - had inserted Madden 11 and had been playing it for several hours.

Talk about fuging creepy.

    • I don't think Dave touches the defense. That might be a mark against him but definitely a huge red flag for evero. He refuses to run anything other than soft zone and when you don't get pressure that's an awful scheme
    • You don't have to convince me. I think not picking up the option should absolutely be firmly on the table but I just do not see Tepper and Morgan doing that for previously stated reasons. Therefore I'm not going to bother entertaining the notion. Just hoping we actually get real viable competition. If that doesn't happen at the minimum then my perception of that is complete and utter professional malpractice.
    • It was absolutely a catch, and I can’t believe how many folks were stating, before the NFL’s apology, that the overturn was the right call.  The ultimate question in this case is this: can a player complete a catch with only one hand? Of course, we all know the answer to that question, and it is an emphatic “Yes.” T-Mac maintained complete control with one hand (believe it was the right) while the other came off when the ball hit the ground. The ball was in the same position in the one hand (watch T-Mac’s fingers in relation to the NFL shield on the ball) after touching the ground as it was when it first went to the ground. Going back to the question above, if one hand can establish control, then there was no need for the other to stay on the ball, so long as the ball doesn’t move in that one hand that stays on it   It blew my mind that they overturned this in the first place. This should not be a “We got it wrong on the replay because there wasn’t clear and convincing evidence.” This should have been, “That was absolutely a catch.”
