What do you guys think about Sam Hurd from the Cowboys.

Probably going to be released soon. May fit the mold on what FO might look for

Pro's

a) really fast. Seems team speed in the new emphasis.

B) he is young. think hes around 26 or something like that. Seems being young is a new team emphasis.

c) shouldn't real expensive. Seems inexpensive is a new team empahsis.

d) he can catch. Thats a plus in our WR core.

e) hes tall at 6'3.

f) doesn't appear to have any drug/violence/criminal issues.

g) good special teams player. Not that we need any help on special teams mind you.

Con's

a) He hasn't stepped up the way Miles Austin has.

B) He hasn't beaten our Roy Williams.

c) He has Cowboy Cooties.

I dont think the Panthers will be bringing in anybody..... they are going to move forward with what they have.

I hate all things Cowboy.

Signing an ex-Cowboy is like marrying a hooker. You might get some enjoyment, but the herpies and warts are just too awful. Plus you'd have to hear these idiots around here talking about how we sign their cast aways.

No thanks. Give me Brandon LaFell.

This is a much bigger deal than No. 3 on your Cons list.

How do you feel about our starting quarterback?

How do you feel about our starting quarterback?

He never made the roster, so he never caught the Cowboy suckness.

Plus, 98% of the Cowboy retard fans around here don't know that Moore had a cup of coffee with that peace o-sh*t franchise.

Maybe not there, but here just about any Cowboy fan that can name 5 players on their roster knows about Matt Moore.

The conversation usually goes

Cowboy fan: Who's your QB again?

- Matt Moore.

Cowboy fan: Oh yeah, that's where he went.

They all remember him favorably.

Yea, but Cowboy fans in Texas have credibility. The ones running around the Carolinas are one step below an inbred chimpanzee.

    • I’ll get killed for this but he always sounded gay to me. Not necessarily not gay, but feminine.  I tried to say it in a more subtle way and still got killed for it last year. fug it I don’t care it’s an honest opinion. I didn’t let that disqualify him and have been very patient and non critical. I just wondered how the big tough guys in the locker room would respond to that.  But whatever, I think he thinks too much from the emotional side. The rah rah positive deal, what must it sound like if he gets mad? Where is the tough hard ass side? The no empathy, get the job done or get gone. I wonder about that. It mean I doubt there is a lot of fear of failure going on.    So anyway to other comments about he sucks and all that, I said I needed a better reason to change my stance on him, which has been give him time. Continuity is super important.  This thing with the running backs is eroding the goodwill.
    • He has a 54 mil buyout so he will be fine but LSU needs o move on.
    • Sure if you just blindly look at stats, you can pinpoint a couple areas that look similar. But come on man that's lazy analysis. Instead of throwing lower percentage throws, Dalton held onto the ball unconscionably long, leading to several of those sacks including that unthinkable one at the end of the first half, inflating his completion percentage. Bryce for all his flaws, does a pretty good job of escaping pressure and scrambling for 5 yards or throwing it away. Dalton's pocket presence was just so incredibly bad today, which led to both of his lost fumbles. If Bryce would just hold onto the ball and get sacked every 3rd play instead of throw it away or try a contested pass, his completion percentage would be 15 points higher than Dalton's today. And Bryce only had more yardage in 3 of 7 games? You mean when we played run heavy schemes in our wins, instead of Dalton being forced to throw all game cause we're getting blown out?  Look anyone is more than justified in arguing Bryce Young doesn't have the tools to lead this team to a super bowl. But he has been head and shoulders better this year than what Dalton showed today. That was just an abysmal perfomance.
