I Need help With My Receiver Situation.

Recommended Posts

My team is really shallow on the wide receiver side of things, but I have a lot of different options in my league that could be potential sleepers. I can't decide who to drop or who to pick up, so I thought I'd turn to you guys for some advice.

On my team, I have…

Hines Ward (Definitely keeping)

Jeremy Maclin (Keeping)

Devin Hester (Keeping)

Arrelious Benn (Probably dropping)

Brandon Stokely (Probably dropping)

Nate Washington (Plan on keeping)

I'm gonna go ahead and list some of my league's options.

Jerheme Urban (KC)

Chansi Stuckey (CLE)

**Early Doucet (ARI)**

Sam Aiken (NE)

Brian Gibson (STL)

**Bobby Wade (WSH)**

Greg Camarillo (MIA)

Bryant Johnson (DET)

**Sammie Straughter (TB)**

Matt Jones (CIN)

Antwan Randle El (PITT)

Michael Clayton (TB)

Brandon Lloyd (DEN)

**Danny Amendola (STL)**

**Brian Robiskie (CLE)**

The five starred ones are the ones who I have put the most thought into. Any of those guys look better than what I have right now??

Floyd won't be on most people's waiver wires...

Naanee might.

Doucet is interesting with the QB change...Robiskie might be as well considering they may have to use Cribbs more in a RB role due to Hardesty's injury. Laurent Robinson is another one that should be looked at due to the fact Avery's done for a while/if not for the year.

Unless this is the huddle league that Future set up I would pick up Mike Williams former USC WR now in Seattle. He beat out T.J. Whosyourmama for the starting flanker job. He should get plenty of looks in the redzone if Pete Carroll's history is anything to go buy. Carroll LOVES huge physical WR's down in the redzone, see Mike Williams, Dwayne Jarrett, Patrick Turner and Damian Williams......

Yes, Mike Williams out of SEA is definitely worth a flier. Potential sleeper of epic proportions (Ok maybe not epic, but pretty good).zKeep an eye on Deon Butler and Golden Tate, also.

As far as your list goes, the only one that I would actually consider is Camarillo. It's not like Berrian is a beast, Harvin has headaches, and Rice is out for half the season. Camarillo has never dropped a ball thrown his way. He and Favre should be able to establish a rapport for that reason alone.

I would also keep an eye on Jordan Shipley in Cincy. and Mark Clayton in St. Louis.

I just picked up Camarillo after reading about him (mind you, I still have Mike Williams). I figured that I had better get Camarillo before tomorrow night's game. If he sucks, then I'll just drop him. Low risk. I had to drop Jairus Byrd, but hopefully he'll still be on waivers when I want him.
