the Moutainner won't work. That is something high schools run and something that will work in college football.

Carolina needs to quit with these lame gimmicks. I have never seen anyone besides Fox lame down the Wildcat either. The man in motion is what creates the effectiveness. Further proof Fox just makes everything lame. Henning at least was allowed to run the actual wildcat when he went to Miami.

I agree with CRA the man in motion is absolutely critical for a package like this to work UNLESS you can pass very effectively out of it. As though it were a standard shotgun formation.

yeah, but I wouldn't call what AE did the singlewing or Mildcat. It is basically him playing QB with an emphasis on the handoff if the hole is there...and if the lane doesn't open he keeps the ball to run first and throw second.

The Mildcat Fox runs is pointless. Might as well just line up in the I formation and run it. Then you still have a threat to pass.
