Interesting article here about paying for a stadium no longer standing:

"It’s the gift that keeps on taking. The old Giants Stadium, demolished to make way for New Meadowlands Stadium, still carries about $110 million in debt, or nearly $13 for every New Jersey resident, even though it is now a parking lot."

Thats what I'm thinking. I can understand it still carrying some debt but it was built in 1976 how did it still have $110 million?

The old Charlotte Coliseum didn't have any debt left when it was demolished did it?
