Fox says Moore has concussion

And to follow up on my first comment, this is from an article on catcrave:

"health is still in question. Pass protection was very poor today. Very poor. Besides all the sacks and forced fumbles, 10 Quarterback hits were recorded. In an earlier conversation today, Dkes from carolinagrowl told me he felt like Moore may have had a concussion before he was taken out. That does raise a good question, “Was Matt Moore literally knocked silly?” by the time he got around to his last two interceptions? Who knows? He did manage to get the ball to the end-zone?"

Hopefully more info will be out tomorrow or tuesday. Japhy if what you posted is true then man that is just some disturbing stuff. Wouldn't be the first time though, but an emphasis has to be put on it being the last. There's a guy coaching in Seattle right now that could back that up as well as many players who have serious mental issues post-career.

Holy f**k you guys are horrible. One game. ONE GAME! This guy has a winning record as a starter and as badly as he played today, he still deserves a 2nd chance. Now people are happy he got hurt so Clausen can start? WTF man? Way to be premature bandwagon jumpers.

The Huddle? Premature bandwagon jumpers? No way.

Regardless, I really hope he's ok. I wasn't aware he was vomiting/about to vomit on the sideline, I didn't realize it was that serious.

Im no football god.At times i forget my own name.....

But i know theres rules now with this type of injury can someone enlighten us?

It's a Five-Step process a player must go through before he can play following a concussion. They can no longer return to the same game. Here is the policy that just went into effect, this is from ESPN:

"Once removed for the duration of a practice or game, the player should not be considered for return-to-football activities until he is fully asymptomatic, both at rest and after exertion, has a normal neurological examination, normal neuropsychological testing and has been cleared to return by both his team physician(s) and the independent neurological consultant."

    • 3 wins might get us the no. 1 pick.  5 wins probably puts us in the top 5.  Look on the bright side.
    • It's not just "week two". Bryce has started 30 games at this point and it's still the same poo. Unless the opposing defense is playing Charmin soft and we seemingly have nothing to play for, Bryce can't do anything.  I'd rather try to land a Jameis Winston or Sam Howell for a late round pick than play Hooker but at this point we gotta try something else.
    • It's really all on Tepper. He was the engine behind the Bryce trade, which the roster obviously wasn't ready for. We wasted a year proving that the roster wasn't ready to support a young quarterback, and then spent a mandatory offseason using all possible resources to patch up the offensive line and find offensive playmakers. Then the defense was the worst in the league, and we spent an offseason trying to solve that. We've been chasing our tail, dealing with problems that Tepper let stagnate while he chased immediate contention, and then the shiny toy of a young QB.  Dan's got a competent contract guy and he's finally hired someone to stop him from wasting draft capital in bad trades. Those two things alone put a functional floor on his performance. I don't think he's got the vision to turn us into the Eagles or the Chiefs, But if the owner's never going to agree to a proper rebuild, it probably doesn't matter.
