Brady criticizes Patriot fans

Brady unhappy with Patriot fans for leaving early

“The road environment is very different than our friendly home crowd, who when I looked up, half the stadium was gone when we were up 21 points early fourth quarter, which I wasn’t so happy about,” Brady said. “I don’t think the Jets fans leave early. They’re going to be loud the whole game. Communication is always an issue."

Ouch.

Not really. He's directly involved in why this happens. You want fans to stay until 0:00 4th qtr, don't run up the score. Get a 2 TD lead and start running the ball.

difference between diehard fan and not. i haven't been to as many games as a lot of people on here, but I have seen the panthers lose, and also with a comfortable lead going into the 4th. i've been there until the final tick every time.

Same here... but its a combination of being a fan and staying for the entirety of what I paid for.

But this is the exception, not the rule. Hell, I remember a few years ago, the Packers were getting killed at home on a Monday Night game, and the blimp camera took some video of throngs of people walking out of the stadium with most of the 4th quarter left.

It happens. Crying about your fanbase doing it is just another example of Brady having headimus-rectumus.

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
