Saturday night was insanity!!

Life has been good for the huddle musicians lately. First Hepcat played a sold out show, and now this:

saturday night my rock cover band played Molly Macphersons uptown. Well, not only was Lady Gaga at the arena, but there was a St Patricks in September Bar Crawl that showed up at Molly's about 10 minutes before we went on stage.

There were already about 75 people in there and once the 150 or so drunk people wearing green got settled the place was beyond packed. This was certainly a nice change of pace from the friday night gig where we played a classic car cruise in and watched 70 years olds cover their ears all night.

There were so many people security had to hold them back from the stage as they were bumping into the guitar player and one dude kept trying to hit my cymbals with his hands.

We altered our set to play more modern tunes and this crowd stuck around for 2 hours and rocked out with us.

It was a great night and there were never less than 100 people in the bar. It was just really awesome and I felt the need to share.

Heh, heh... you know I almost typed beat off, then I changed it... seriously, how many... and please PM pics... I have to live my life vicariously through others now.

As soon as LazyDay posts them I'll put some up.

Man there had to have been 25 or 30 scantily clad girls dancing in front of the "stage"

    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
    • I don’t know about shadowing and all that, but according to this, whatever we are doing is working
