You break apart my post and then interject meaningless comments which you must think are rebuttals but typically add nothing new to the discussion nor do they further any ongoing debate. Try adding something new or novel instead of the same irrelevant comments using brevity rather than commenting on everything I say unless your responses add something to the debate.

But what does that have to do with our situation? Contracts are up, bonuses have been paid via the life of the contracts. If we "cut" or "release" some of these players at the end of this season how does it affect us?

Either way, with a CBA or not we are still sitting pretty.

Go back and read what I quoted. The way he was talking was that even though a player is cut it is spreaded over the length of the contract which isnt right.

Talking about a new CBA and the cap. Once one is passed the Cap will not just drop to $110 million or whatever the new figure will be. It will be gradually brought down to the new level. It would hurt teams that was near the cap last year.

Richardson isnt being cheap because of a possible new cap figure. He is being cheap because he is expecting a lockout next season and stashing cash. Can I blame him no but he still needed to field a decent team this year which he didnt.
