You know, I just re-watched seasons 1 and (most of) 2 on Netflix. Then it hit me: Dexter's foster mother has never been shown.

When can we expect the obligatory "Debra, your mom is alive" angle? It happens to all series. In the case of Prison Break, it happened multiple times.

I mean, is there a reason she had a voice, but no character was cast as her in the first part of season 2?

I hope Dexter's writers don't go down that tired, worn out path.

It did get better but Deborah and her hunches were pretty dumb. Next week looks good.

This season has finally progressed to the point that I'm not predicting the next episode before it airs.

But that could be the result of the last 2 weeks only showing like 4 seconds of previews.

I've actually liked this season. It's been different. I have had fun watching Dexter actually find a real person he can confide in, and be himself around. He's also becoming more human now.

I still think Lumen ends up getting killed somehow though.

And I agree, I think somehow Deb finds out about her brother this year. It's probably about time this happens.

I agree. It would be impossible for Dexter to be happy for too long.

Yeah that could happen. What if Lumen gives herself up and admits to killing the men just to get Dexter off the hook somehow? Who knows.

I think she gets caught but she won't talk. She loves Dex now, no way she turns him in.

Dexter got renewed for a 6th season, a 7th season is in the works.

But next season the show will be called "Lumen" instead.

He is killing innocent people now so he might let Quinn take the fall. Deb is not gonna let Dexter go to jail if she really does catch him like it showed in the preview.
