That was a very anti-climatic finale, big time. They really should have let Deb find out who Dexter is. You can, sadly, tell they are stretching things out for more seasons at this point.

Wow, I really thought Deb was going to find out in that camp scene. She and Dexter turned out to be not so different after all.

Quinn would have given up Dexter; if he was going to go down so was Dexter. I thought the whole camp thing with Deb was lame, Greys Anatomy is right!!!! If anything Deb should have been too late. Shes a ferocious cop, she doesn't let people go COME ON!

Nah. The police didn't go to Dexter after Boyd Fowler came up missing the night he and Dexter were found unconscious on the side of the road together and escaped the hospital. Then add to the fact that Dexter rented a hotel room right beside Cole the night he disappeared. And the fact that the doorway between the rooms was broken. Dexter then "found" Dan the Dentist and the other guy Dexter killed.

I mean, come on. Those cops are the epitome of why police intelligence is an oxymoron.

The whole point of Dexter is that he is so meticulous that he doesn't leave a trace. PLUS hes on the inside, could get rid of evidence like the 13th DVD. The reason he got away in the finale is cause Deb somehow went against everything she normal would do.
