Road Rage

I have it...I'm sure you do as well

Over here in Asheville NC... the city council is accepting of bicycles on the roads. I for one am fuggin not! I can't stand them. Here are my reasons why...

1. They don't follow the rules of the road. They fuggin don't. They will pass an entire line of traffic at the red light, and stop in front of the line. Therefore...every car that just past the bicyclist before the red light...has to once again pass the mother fugger again.

2. They are not insured. If you hit them, and you damage your car when they are at fault...how the fugg do they pay for it? They simply don't. Police are very lenient with bicyclists here.

3. 95% of them are hippies. Asheville is notorious for being over-populated with these stinkin ass tree huggers. They ride bikes so they don't have a need to buy gas, or destroy our planet as they say. Fugg that!

4. I'm done bickering. This is only reason I get mad on the road. Now I'm going to get really drunk and drive around! Bye

I live out in the country and we have a poo load of small, but paved roads around here. They have maybe an 8 inch or 12 inch shoulder. We get bikers out here constantly and they are constantly causing accidents and are a regular pain in the ass! I realize they need a place to ride too, but so often you seen them going down the road 2, 3, 4 abreast, doing 20 km in an 80 zone!

I hit a Mexican on a bicycle once.

He was wearing a big black parka and I thought it was a bear on a bicycle.

Really freaked me out because I didn't understand why the guy was so mad about it. I thought I had saved his life 'cause the bear must have vomitted him up after I ran it over. Turned out that wasn't the case.

Yea...they are "supposed" to ride single-file here...BUT they don't!

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
