I have coveted Asomugha since last year and still do. If we get rid of Peppers he should be our top target if the Raiders don't resign him.

Our defense is going to S U C K without Pep with our secondary in its current state. If we get rid of him we better make significant upgrades to the secondary...Asomugha would be that upgrade.

Realistically we will need bargain players and our DL needs needs the most work. DT Rocky Bernard from Seahawks , DT Tank Johnson Cowboys. Wait I think Tank may drink beer so that may disqualify him on character issues LOL

Bargain players after we get rid of our best DE and a starting CB??? I'm all about drafting players but if we can afford to get a stud in FA that will help keep us competitive then I am all for it. Marshall lost my confidence a little bit this year and IDK if he is ready to step up and start especially with the lack of pass rush that we will have next season...

I wouldn't count on Asomugha. I think the Raiders are planning on franchising him, and if I were a betting man, I'd bet he'll get the exclusive tag.

      I mean he's not wrong lol. Yes fans who are honest with themselves know this, the casual "facebook fans" who slob rod and celebrate getting crushed in the finals will still see this year as a sucess when we make the ECF and get bounced in 5 or less.  I mean for a while I understood the whole don't burn assents, but this year there was zero excuse not too, we have a glut of talent on the wings to the point that an NHL top 6 ready guy like Nadeu is down in the AHL scoring at will. 3 firsts in two years, numerous other talented prospects in the prospect pool, more cap space than any other team in playoff position (WAY MORE THAN ANY REAL CONTENDERS) and on top of all of that we had the top record in the East (its likely we get home ice at least until the finals) yet we still have a fatal flaw in a 160 lb 5'8 "2C" and no goalie depth......   The Aves got Kadri to he there freaking 3C.... for me it didnt even have to be Trochek or Kadri, a big physical center who gets to the front of the net and scores like SCHENN would have had me extatic.
