I know I said this in another post, but I think it's worth mentioning:

Anyone ever heard of Ruvell Martin? He is a wide receiver (6'5" 220) that was released from Seattle.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/3...-ruvell-martin

He apparently lives in Charlotte and worked out with a group of the Panthers during the summer before camp. Had a couple of guys that watched them workout at Ardrey Kell say he is a Moose type. I am pretty sure he is free and unsigned...it would be just like the panthers to pick up a guy out of the radar.

I think he just got hired by Best Buy in Pineville, so he's probably out.

    • Get the impression this is gonna be talked about quite a lot...
    • Given the state of the NFL this year I would guess half the leauge will blow it thid weekend as usual
    • We just have to follow our script in wins of staying close and being down late and then either scoring a fluke TD/FG or hoping DB saves us... Tampa is a bad matchup for us - their receivers know how to read zone coverages and we won't get any pressure on Baker the entire game. On the other end, their D isn't very good but they stop the run well. Honestly think Bryce is going to have to ball out for us if we have any shot of winning. Based on past performances + our horrendous playcalling on offense, I say there is about a 5% chance of this happening
