Y'all are retarded. How do you come to a conclusion that the entire team or even half the team has been lost by Fox when we went 12-4 and noone ever gave up playing on the field?

We had one of the best locker rooms in the NFL this year. Or did y'all forget about that?

Ah, that's right. You forgot about that... Just like every other aspect you tend to disregard when the sky is falling.

You don't have one of the best locker rooms when half the team has lost faith in the coach, *ahem* Cowgirls...

agreed.

But i still want fox fired, jake, smith, beason, lukas, gamble, gross, williams cut.

think of the cap space we could save!!

He could barely form coherent sentences in that interview. How did you manage to get anything you didn't already knew out of that?

hahah duh, his interviews have been like that all year. i think its safe to say that he has a bit of mental retardation going on.

He cannot speak on camera or isn't a public speaker....He must be a retard!!!! (I could say that a lot of people on here cannot type, does that make them mentally retarded?)

What an asinine comment.

You know it is just funny how a man can go from being one of the Franchises most loved players to one of the most hated, and made the most fun of because he announced he wants out.

I mean the man is the all time sack leader for the Panthers, he is a 3 time pro bowler, he was in the top 5 this year in forced fumbles, he has had 5 interceptions which is at the top for DE

I think it is funny when a lot of people were on Jared Allen's jock strap about him being a beast, and playing with heart. The funny thing is Peppers only had 2 less tackles then him, and 2 more forced fumbles in the regular season.

Because of last year's dismal season, he was this year's scapegoat when in all honesty the whole team played like poo against the Cardinals. Some of the things that are asked by fans are ridiculous, especially when you aren't getting any help from anybody else on the team.

Good thing Steve Smith is locked up long term....I would hate to see what people would say about him if he announced he wanted out.

I'm not saying anything since I am a Tar Heel fan and loyalties/disloyalties tend to remain on college affiliations for some strange reason...

I agree, with that said though. Peppers really hasn't done anything wrong here. He played his contract out, he wants to play for another team. Big deal, I blame the current situation on Carey though. He could have handled this in a better manner.

Walterfootball.com has started listing teams top needs and 2 of Green Bays' top 4 are DE and a rushing LB. Sounds like they could kill two birds with one stone with Peppers.

Wishfull thinking since the fit is almost too good to be true. Which means it probably will not happen.

Would be pretty ironic for Pep to be playing for Trgovac again...

The problem with peppers wanting out, is there isn't really anyone we can trade him for and us get anywhere close in return. If we trade him for Draft picks, I don't see anyone at DE worth getting and While Raja seems nice, I don't think he's worth a high first round pick which is where he goes. We could get Perry later on in the first.

I really don't see us using that first round pick on a DE, we might go the route of DT in the first if thats what we get from peppers. I still like Barwin from Cinci in the second round though.

1st round pick - Jerry, Peria DT

2nd round pick (1) -Barwin, Connor DE/TE

2nd round pick (2) - Paul Kruger DE

3rd round pick - Asher Allen / Alphonso smith CB

Our Dline rotation next year could look something like this.

DE - Johnson, Taylor, Brayton, Barwin, Kruger, maybe mid level FA pickup

DT - Kemo, Lewis, Jerry, FA pickup, Parker, Hayden

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
