Sorry, I'm not some wine and cheese fan. I believe in accountability regardless of experience. If he can't get the job done he needs to get off the field. My biggest concern is that he doesn't try to make plays. I'd rather see him throwing INTs then standing in the pocket looking scared to do anything. You have to take a risk to make a gain. If you keep checking down and throwing the ball away you'll score 3 points.

How many times has the pocket clappsed and he runs it for 3-5 yards? Most QB's we have had weren't much for running, they would just throw it away. At least the kid takes a hit like a man. But whatever dude, there is no point in arguing with iggnorance.

Clausen has a long way to go, and can work on his throws. Just everything is so bad right now, it's like just take your pick.

Don't make mistakes. If you can't make the throw, don't sit there and wait to get sacked or just heave it deep. Check it down or throw it away. We all know we aren't going to win this year, we're trying to develop Clausen and pretty much every young QB goes through this process.

Cut him some slack, we aren't playing for this season anyway.
