You don't have to go to the games but you can still support the team... some guys act like the team/JR has robbed them of their life earnings or something.

Money may not be a real thing for some people, but PSLs are not cheap. It isn't like asking for your money's worth isn't a fair attitude. I happen to agree with the beat reporters that JR is starting the lockout early on our dime. I simply see no reason to support that further.

I wanted to believe that this was at least a team that was building towards something. Now, it simply looks like a ship that has been torpedoed with the intent of sinking it to a designated retiring crevasse.

If JR is this intent on treating the franchise like a business, why can't the fans be afforded the same judgement?

Personally, I have been on board from the beginning. The 1-15 year was miserable to go through, but at least that team was fighting until the last 3 games. Am I supposed to be happy with what I see now? What's more frustrating is to see some REAL talent on this team go to waste while the precious time ticks away. I wanted our team to be given a life vest or at least some sign of help coming.... what we're left with is a floundering franchise content to be on hold with the assumption that its support will simply accept an indefinite sentence to purgatory.

So because we're not going to the playoffs you think everyone should boycott the games? What a shitty fan base.

I've not been in this discussion yet, but...it is not about the playoffs. This team looks bush-league. It is embarrassing as a fan to see our team look so uncoached, undisciplined & uncoordinated.

This has all stemmed from Richardson's 'savings plan'. He probably handcuffed Hurney & Fox into letting go of players that could have provided veteran leadership, but no...they get rid of many. For some reason Richardson doesn't hesitate at all to give them the green light to give away a crappy 3rd rd pick to move up to the 2nd rd for a develomental player (A. Edwards), even tho they all know they are cahing this year in & that the pick given away will basically be a 1st rd pick (very high 2nd).

We are ticked at our team b/c the owner, GM & HC don't seem to give a rats rear-end! What shame b/c Richardson used to be what was good about this team...not anymore.

ehhh I've never really been a fan of this. If you stick by your team through ONE terrible year, you prove your loyalty as a fanbase. If we forgo this season we will look just like what our stereotype is. Honestly I'd rather everyone join together and really give support for the Panthers this year, just to shove it into the other NFL fan bases that we aren't just a wine and cheese crowd........then again its easy to look over glaring issues when you are winning (a la how Jake Delhomme would just throw it up and Smitty would make an awesome play) as to oppose to now (we clearly underappreciate the young talent on this team- tough to see now but Beason, Hardy, DWill, JStew, our safeties) Let's put it this way we could be a lot worse off
