the bolded below makes me think this is more of an internet marketing experiment and hes trying to see how many hits he can get on his site. doesn't matter if the traffic is positive or not, just as long as the search engines see that people are clicking the link and traffic is going there to get better search engine placement. in essence....he's a spammer.

whatever reasons lie beneath this, it's still a pretty silly thing overall.

if this is part one of a plan to start trying to generate attention to multiple candidates, then thats pretty silly as well. tell an organization that they need to make a coaching change when one was going to happen anyway?

That part struck me too, and I'd say there's been something not quite kosher about this guy from the start.

I haven't visited the site. Nor do I intend to, and after those comments I'd advise others to avoid it as well.

If admin sees it as spam, then threads go bye bye in 5...4...3...

Not spam, not an internet experiment...no matter if its a product, service or IDEA you have to market it so people will hear about it. if i didn't care about the traffic being positive of negative why would I be trying to convince you guys to embrace it.

I love the carolina panthers and i want to see a great coach come in to replace fox. I hate going to games where more people show up wearing more jerseys from our opponents. I wish the panthers had more dedicated fans like yourself and many others on this site. Maybe one day we will...for now if we can get the panthers fans more involved outside of the games it will help build a larger more dedicated fan base.

you should have picked a better coach to try and pimp, then.

anyways, you act almost as if the team isn't going to be making a coaching change after the season. fan base isn't going to impact the decision making process nor should it.

if it's just about building fan unity or something like that...a website with a poll or a petition isn't going to do much either. it's building a winning franchise that does it and getting some years on the team. neither of those two requires much from the fan.

once we start winning more regularly, we'll be seeing more panthers jerseys. once we get a lot more age to this team, we won't be seeing much of any other team jerseys in the stands at all unless it's steelers jerseys because those fans are everywhere.

speaking of steelers fans, why are they everywhere? why are cowboy jerseys everywhere? they won a bunch of games and a good few championships and they have been around for a long time. it didn't happen over night and it won't here. no website is going to accomplish that.

    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
    • Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
