Ive seen everything this year. Still doesn't make me lose faith in my OWN team and then come on here and show everyone how much dedication I have to my team.

Why don't you just go ahead and jump on with the 49ers?

I'll never jump ship, I know we are better then how we play, and will continue to get better, I have just come to deal with reality that this year is a joke, you should too, it doesnt bother me as bad when I see some stupid playcalling or rookies all over the place dropping easy passes, tell me im wrong? I would want nothing more then for us to be at least 2-3 or 3-2 or even 4-1 but when your coaches moto is "it is what it is" what can you do??

This is going to be an interesting game.

9ers have a better overall offense than us. I think we have a better overall defense than them. They should be able to shut down Clausen and our rookie Wrs fairly easy. Then again, our defense should be able to shut down Smith and company fairly easy.

It should come down to our run game vs theirs. I guess Gore takes it, unless Dwill and Stewart are "on". If our guys are on........ there isn't a defense that can stop Dwill/Stewart from gashing the hell out of them. They've not had a game where they've been on yet this season though. Who knows? This could be their week.

The 49ers defense is better than the Panthers. We held Jason Cambell to 28 passing yards with like 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter... he finished with what 80 and 2 interceptions? we have a good run defense and we get pressure on the QB. Over the last year we have been in the top 5 in run defense. So far they aren't there yet but we are heading in the right direction.

You have to do more than just shut down Gore. We have players on offense that make you respect the pass. Alex Smith is not the best QB but he CAN make plays. With Vernon Davis, Crabtree, Ted Dinn, Josh Morgan and Brian Westbrook we have playmakers that can stretch the field. I think Vernon Davis has a big day come Sunday.

Hey, I feel the same way you do. I am just as frustrated as you about this season. But you don't see me calling for us to lose. Gotta keep the faith buddy. Plus we are coming off a bye week so maybe there is a chance.

What can you do?

Keep faith in your team. Good times and bad. It makes it that much better when we get a win;)

We may be 0-5, but don't tout your defense based on shutting down the Raiders for God's sake. I wouldn't hang my hat on that.

You shut our offense down this week, then you've done something. :P

Hard to say that the defense is better. Our defense is very good, but tends to spend a lot of time on the field because our offense is mostly three and out. We have fewer td's than any team in the NFL, which means no long drives so that the defense can rest.

I had faith against the giants, I had A LOT of faith against the Bucs, I have faith against the bengals, I had the most faith against the bears playing collins and was let down, but just for the sake of the bye week and hoping we put something new into r playbook that isnt easy for the D to telegraph I will have faith next week as well...
