Bernadeau Loses Starting Job

prior to this year i had complete faith in magazu. this year...not so much.

i hope it fixes things but i'm inclined to believe that it won't.

otah needs to come back but i have very little reason to believe he will this year. i'm not thinking that he wants to all that much.

I bet Otah would rush back for Moore...

oh wait.

in all seriousness, I really hope Williams is better than Bernadeau. If not, we're in a lot of trouble. I also hope the others can hold the false starts down. Our first downs are so crap...

Offensive lines are only as good as it's post. (For the COLTS it's Jeff Saturday) I assume it Ryan Kalil for the Panthers. Saturday will see how the opposing team lines up and depending on this, he calls out the Offensive blocking scheme. Of course Peyton sees what the opposition is doing, as well. Sifts, Blitzs, coverage, etc. Peyton is given 3 Passing Plays and 2 Running plays from the OC. If he sees something different, he can audible and call his own play. At which time Saturday has to adjust the Offensive Line and their blocking assignments.

I'm assume that Kalil does this as well. (Though I don't know how much Panther's QB's are allowed to audible.) Any off sides is clearly up to the individual player.

But clearly the entire Offensive Line needs to play as a cohesive unit.

I totally agree. I think the reason our O-Line was playing so well last season at the end there was more about chemistry than having more or less talent this year, though lack of Otah and out of position players does hurt.
