I think the pointless run plays are much worse.

the runs up the gut are pointless.....but the fact he ran that last screen just proves how horrfic this guy is. SF has blown up every one.....and he goes right back to it when we need a play for a TD. He should be fired today. High school coaches can call games better than this clown.

I actually like the idea someone mentioned about firing Davidson and promoting Skipper as interm OC for the rest of the year. It may not make that much of a difference, but he certaintly can't be as terrible as Davidson. Wasn't he in the running for it anyway before Davidson got here?

Hasn't everyone been bitching all season that Davidson doesn't call screen plays? If you don't think the offense is getting Fox-ed then you haven't paid much attention to this franchise for the past five years. Davidson isn't nearly as bad as you all think he is. Neither was Henning.

I somewhat agree with you on Davidson there. Some complain about Henning & he look better with the 'Phins. I think Fox destroy Davidson somewhat like he did with Henning.

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup. • This is why we need the Bank of America Stadium Ballroom.
    • That thread has all the huddle legends either posting in it or mentioned in it. I remember everyone of those folks and I truly miss seeing them post here. This place was so much better with them here.
