Rams vs. Panthers

lol jealous much?

injuries are part of football, if something like that happens it happens. we dont whine and hate on everybody if our qb sucks

No one is hating on anyone. Bradford has been praised lately on these boards.

Matt Moore is 7-4 as a starter. Not sure he "sucks".

Moore is a mediocre 4th year QB ...

We've made McNabb, Hasselbeck, and Phillip Rivers look very average ...

Matter of fact, River had his worst game since 2008 against us ....

I just will never understand why ANYBODY would think the Panthers would roll up many points at all on an upstart team giving up 12.8 PPG at home ....

Anything could happen, but you're going to have a much better chance limiting us to 10 or 13 points and pulling it out by a field goal, than by trying to roll us ....

Matt Moore is 5-3 in his recent starts. (7-4 career). He hasn't been medicore when given chances to start.

Have you watched Moore's career? What makes you think this team is going to function like it does w/ Jimmy Clausen at QB?

In 2009 and 2010 when Moore starts the Panthers average a little over 20 a game. Steve Smith is also generally pretty dangerous when Moore starts.....again those are just facts.

Again, I don't care what year it is, your offensive line is playing poorly, and Moore is an unproven mediocre 4th year QB until he does something that is sustained ...

Phillip Rivers brought an offense into the EDJ averaging 465 YPG and 29 PPG ...

He managed 285 yards and 17 points ...

    • It’s going to get wild after this Sunday.  I would assume Dave has a really smart plan.   Sorta like the AZ plan last year.    After a big turnover heavy  bad game Bryce normally reels it in.  Bryce will have one of his standard 60% for 200 days and the Bryce defenders will use that as a “ I told you he is good” games.
    • Bryce is a really smart kid and I'm sure he knows all the answers to the test but he hasn't been able to overcome his lack of physical tools and other DC's know this and play him accordingly. I think Bryce has good processing but when the correct read is the WR 30 to 40 yards down field and you have a defensive lineman coming at you what can he really do? He just doesn't have the arm to effectively and consistently hurt the defense and I think that's what's gonna do him in.  Pime example look at the INT versus Dallas last year when Thelien was wide open down the seam and Bryce threw it from a clean pocket and the ball was way short. Dc's watched that and knew that Bryce can't throw the ball deep.
    • I'd give Bryce until the trade deadline to prove he's the answer and if he's not I'm dumping him for whatever pick we can get and I'm riding with Dalton the rest of the way.  2 and a half years is enough time to determine if he can be the QB going forward so for Bryce he needs to come out over the next couple of weeks and show that. The other players in the locker room don't wanna waste another year of their careers waiting to see if you'll ever figure it out.  If you took a poll of the players in the locker room I'm sure they'd rather lose with a respected veteran Dalton who at least gives them some creditability versus losing with Bryce who the entire media will say was let down by his supporting cast when in reality it's Bryce's physical limitations that are holding this team back.
