Rams vs. Panthers

I've been thinking about Moore's first two starts against the Giants and the Bucs. Those are really his only two bad games of his short career.

Most Qbs would have looked like trash against the Giants defense. It was their first game in a new stadium against a team that embarrassed them in the closing of their old stadium, they were ready for blood. Moore played the division rival bucs the very next week, just after his concussion.

If Moore is truly back, Panthers win big.

Again, I don't care what year it is, your offensive line is playing poorly, and Moore is an unproven mediocre 4th year QB until he does something that is sustained ...

Phillip Rivers brought an offense into the EDJ averaging 465 YPG and 29 PPG ...

He managed 285 yards and 17 points ...

Moore is more proven than what the Rams will put on the field Sunday.....you know what 7-4 means, it means the majority of the time Carolina wins with him.

If you don't care about what Matt Moore does.....why should anyone care about you throwing out Phillip Rivers stats.

Rams win a couple games suddenly fans don't realize what their teams really is.

Carolina could spank you by 21 or lose by 21. Neither would be a surprise. Likely will beat you by a Kasay fieldgoal.

Because Phillip Rivers is a legitimate threat with a legitimate offense ...

Matt Moore is mediocre with a less than mediocre offense ...

We will learn all about Moore's ability to handle pressure this weekend ...

FWIW, our team is average in many regards. But we are a solid defensive team overall, and a good defensive team at home ...

But seriously, you're talking crap to fans of a 1-5 team, that's kinda like hitting a little girl.

Plus, if you're on your high horse, go to Pro Football Reference and read your stats from the past three years.

Nope, you're wrong, I tried to come here in peace ...

Then I read stuff like ... "If Moore is on his game, we've got a great chance" ...

As if Moore is the second coming of Jake Delhomme is 2003 ...

A great chance at what? If you play a very good game, you'll win. If you don't, you will probably lose ....

As if Moore is the second coming of Jake Delhomme is 2003 ...

This is 2010 buddy, what the previous regime of 2007, 2008, and those remnants of 2009 have to do with the 2010 Rams is beyond me ...

again, you can say it all you want.

The fact he is 5-3 recently and 7-4 overall....you know facts and games speak otherwise.

go back and check the OL and running attack of Carolina in 2009 and 2008 6 weeks into the seasons......slow starters. If Carolina is anything they are predictable. Only a matter of time before the talent starts smacking people around. You can claim they have performed poorly.....they have. Talent always find a way and they have game changers on offense......more than St. Louis has. Eventually they wake.

Lol I love the could lose by 21 or win by 21. Way to cover yourself there. Can you actually use intellectual arguement instead of just throwing stuff out there? I am not saying matt moore sucks. He could actually turn out to be a decent QB. How is Matt Moore not a mediocre qb right now? infact bradford is too. The game might be close but I see the rams winning 24-13 or 20-10 to that effect.

I've never seen a Rams fan in person, I always thought they were like a yeti or a chupacabre...but here we have two fierce fans coming out of the closet and exclaiming that they beat Phillip Rivers. Kudos to you.

You just might win on Sunday, here's a news flash: the panthers are not good this year. You're only ONE season removed from being the taint of the NFL. you remember how painful last year was for you? Don't be a dick, especially on a Panther forum.

That said, the panthers will acquire Phillip Rivers from San Diego in an illegal trade for Tony Pike and Keary Colbert's rookie card, and he will start and struggle against the Rams...again. Rams win 100-9.

Congrats on supporting a team named after an animal that's on the bottom if the food chain.

Dude where have I ever been a dick??? GO read my intro post in the intro forum

Damn you guys need to chill instead of going off the wall. I guess I do see now why I do hate most carolina fans around me. The most non-realistic fans of all. Don't even know how to root for a Pro team because not used to having one.

    • it helps that Bryce and Tmac worked out a bit this off-season before the draft and are familiar with each other's game from way back.  Sure Bryce put in a good word for him to the coaching crew ahead of time That california connection goin' work, I hope
    • Sign but make it mostly incentive driven contract
    • My biggest problem is I think the players he likes don't really work in the modern NFL.  You mentioned the wr room being a lot better, is it?  It has the potential to be.   Last year when we traded up to get Legette, they said they traded up to take him specifically because he was a true X receiver.   Now this year they take TMac because they say he is and that XL was out of posisition last year.  Im not sold on Tmac yet just like I wasn't sold on XL last year.  If TMac isn't a lot better than last XL was last season then that's back to back first rounders in one position that would still need a huge amount of work.  Hopefully Tmac is what everyone seems to think he will be, I'm just not so sure, but them declaring XL was a true X receiver after the draft last year and what they're saying now should at least give you pause about their receivers evaluation because it means they definitely made a mistake one way or another.
